Paradise Palms – Sugar Hill Resort – A202

5 stars!!!
This was our first stay on the West Coast of Barbados, and what a wonderful decision to stay at
Paradise Palms! The apartment was perfect for the 2 of us – everything was spotless and newly
furnished with all the necessities for our 3-week vacation. The kitchen was well equipped, and
the BBQ on the upper deck was an added bonus. We spent hours lounging on the lower patio,
and watched gorgeous sunsets on the upper terrace.
Sugar Hill Resort is a magnificent property with beautifully manicured gardens, and lots of space
to walk around. The pools were fantastic, and the tennis courts looked to be in excellent
condition. We loved to visit ‘The Deck’, the on-site restaurant, for happy hour, but we also
enjoyed sampling the many appetizers, bar snacks and of course the main menus. Delicious!
The service at The Deck was outstanding, and many of the servers knew us by name after only
1 visit!
We spent time at the beach club at the Fairmont Royal Pavilion, and thoroughly enjoyed the
fresh air, floating and swimming in the ocean and reading and relaxing on the beach. As we had
not rented a car, we walked there in about 30 minutes – part of our exercise for the day. There
are many restaurants and shops in Holetown, which is about 15 minutes away by car / taxi. We
didn’t get to explore them all, so we’ll have to return next year – we’ve already booked!
